At the University of Debrecen, users with an EDUROAM ID (including external users such as employees and students) can connect to the WiFi network available on university campuses. During the OTDK, students and their supervisors can use this network.
Projectors typically have a 4:3 aspect ratio at the conference, and presentations will be shown under natural lighting, which should be considered. A presenter device will not be provided, so bringing a personal device with a USB connection is recommended. On-site monitors support VGA, HDMI, and DisplayPort connections. The computers run MS Office 2016, so presentation materials should be prepared in a
compatible format. Presentations should be brought on a storage device with a USB connection. Each student is required to upload their presentation material to the designated computers at least 15 minutes before their section meeting.
The conference language is English for international students studying in Hungary. Hungarian native-speaking students enrolled in English-language programs may also present in English. Students from non-Hungarian-speaking higher education institutions abroad may submit their research papers in English.
