In 2016, the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Debrecen launched a new bilingual academic journal as the successor to Debreceni Műszaki Közlemények. The journal is published under the English title International Journal of Engineering and Management Sciences (IJEMS) and the Hungarian title Műszaki és Menedzsment Tudományi Közlemények.
IJEMS is an independent, peer-reviewed, open-access online journal covering a broad range of topics in engineering, management, and business sciences.
The journal does not charge any article processing charges (APCs), submission fees, or publication fees.
IJEMS aims to provide researchers, academics, students, and industry professionals with a platform to disseminate and share their research findings in both English and Hungarian.
The journal is indexed in DOAJ, EBSCO, ERIH PLUS, and the ICI Journals Master List.
