In 2014, the Department of Mechatronics at the Faculty of Engineering, University of Debrecen, launched a new academic journal entitled Recent Innovations in Mechatronics (RIiM).
RIiM is a peer-reviewed scientific journal dedicated to research in mechatronics and related fields. The journal follows a single-blind peer-review process, in which each manuscript is evaluated anonymously by at least two independent experts. The identities of the reviewers are not disclosed to the authors.
The journal is published annually, with one issue released at the end of each year.
RIiM aims to publish the latest studies and research findings of academics, university departments, research groups, and industry partners working in the fields of mechatronics and related disciplines. The journal also provides a publication platform for doctoral candidates and students to disseminate their research results.
Manuscripts may be submitted in either English or Hungarian. In both cases, an English title and abstract are required.
The journal is indexed in EBSCO and ProQuest.
