Professional discussions and joint activities provided an excellent platform to establish the foundations for future cooperation between the two institutions.
The Chinese students arrived in Debrecen to participate in the 1st IEEE International Conference on Crisp & Soft Computing in AI, Modelling and Control, where they presented their latest research achievements.
Their research topics span a broad spectrum within the field of mechanical engineering, with a particular emphasis on the potential applications of artificial intelligence. During their visit, the Chinese students explored the scenic Nagyerdő area and Békás Lake, and toured the University’s iconic Main Building together with their hosts. They were especially captivated by Debrecen’s natural surroundings and the building’s distinguished, historical atmosphere.
The day concluded with a convivial dinner, which offered a perfect opportunity to deepen both professional and personal connections. Throughout the evening, participants discovered numerous points of convergence between their respective research areas. The discussions focused primarily on the role of artificial intelligence in scientific research and its prospective applications in the near future.
Automotive developments and international collaborations also emerged as key topics of conversation. The guests highlighted Hungary’s prominent role in this field and expressed their belief that such partnerships could pave the way for mutual success and shared innovation in the years ahead.
The visit clearly demonstrated that the research interests of the two universities’ PhD students align in several areas, providing a solid basis for future joint research projects.
At the conclusion of the program, the guests extended an invitation to the University of Debrecen’s PhD students to visit Shanghai DianJi University and participate in upcoming scientific conferences and collaborative research initiatives.
