Short Descriptions:

Environmental Technology Specialization
This specialization primarily provides a more detailed insight into industrial production processes and environmental technologies.
It is recommended for students who are interested in technical fields, do not necessarily prefer desk-based work, enjoy fieldwork, and like to carry out investigations and measurements on-site.
Practical training for design and planning professionals.
When developing the group of differentiated professional courses, we aimed to select subjects that cover the expected areas of activity of environmental engineers, including environmental protection, water management, waste management, soil protection, noise and vibration control, energy management, and related fields.

Key areas of focus:

  • Pollution prevention,
  • Learning about technological processes,
  • Recovery and utilization, including products that can be obtained from processes,
  • Selection of efficient energy sources, etc.

 

Environmental Management Specialization
The Environmental Management specialization focuses on the economic and social aspects of environmental issues.

Main topics include:

  • Development of environmental policies,
  • Environmental planning,
  • Environmental marketing,
  • Life cycle assessment, etc.

The specialization introduces students to the structure and interrelationships of environmental protection institutions and regulatory systems.
The requirements and criteria of the ISO 14001 standard and the EMAS regulation,
Operation of corporate Environmental Management Systems (EMS),
Environmental indicators, etc.
