The Faculty of Engineering Signed an MOU with Toronto Metropolitan University

The Faculty of Engineering has expanded its Canadian higher education connections by signing an MOU with Toronto Metropolitan University, one of the world's top 200 universities.

This collaboration with the prestigious Canadian institution strengthens our commitment to enhancing our international competitiveness and solidifying our position as a leading technical higher education institution in the region.

We firmly believe that we can best prepare our students for the job market or research careers by establishing strong partnerships with the most successful and influential universities. This cooperation, which focuses on MSc and PhD education and research, targets areas where mutual knowledge exchange can most effectively benefit our students.

The partnership's primary goal is to promote international research and student exchanges between the two institutions while fostering collaboration in science, technology, and innovation. The agreement aims to enhance the quality of education and research by sharing theoretical and practical knowledge bases.

Through this partnership, we also gain the opportunity to participate in the Mitacs Globalink Research Award program. This initiative not only increases the visibility and accessibility of our research topics and advanced laboratory infrastructure for Canadian businesses and engineering organizations but also provides financial support for mobility through grants. This opens up additional opportunities for our faculty members, researchers, and MSc and PhD students.

The cooperation agreement represents an exceptional opportunity to strengthen the Faculty's international reputation. Through joint work with TMU, we hope to advance the Faculty of Engineering's standing in leading global higher education rankings.
