Factory Visits
Our partner companies warmly welcome all interested participants to the optional programs listed below. Colleagues from the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Debrecen will meet participants at the designated meeting points and will accompany them during the factory visits. Transportation to and from the locations will be provided by a dedicated bus. Participation requires registration.

Interested in the world of companies and new technologies? Join us for a glimpse into the manufacturing processes and corporate culture of Harro Höfliger Hungary Ltd.
Maximum capacity: 20 participants per session

Visit to the Csokonai National Theatre Building
Guided by the building’s architect, we’ll explore parts of the theatre usually hidden from the public and learn about architectural, mechanical, interior design, lighting, and other technical aspects.
Participants will be escorted on foot by persons designated by the organizing committee from the Faculty of Engineering to the Csokonai National Theatre in Debrecen. The walking distance between the two buildings can be covered in under 30 minutes.
Maximum capacity: 25 participants
Meeting time and location: April 23, 2025 (Wednesday), between 13:45–14:00 in front of the porter’s lodge on the Ótemető Street side of the Faculty of Engineering

16:00: Harp and Guitar Concert by Anita Oláh (harpist) and Gergő Csorba (guitarist)
The artist couple will give a surprise concert for OTDK participants. The concert will be held at the Technical Library of the University of Debrecen (ground floor, room 17). No registration required.
18:00 - 18:30: Welcoming Musical and Chanson Performance by the students of the Imre Bán College for Cultural Studies (BIKSZ)

16:00: Performance by the Saxophone Quartet of the Faculty of Music, University of Debrecen
Members:

Program includes works by: Bach, Gershwin, Harold Arlen, and Pedro Iturralde

20:00: Performance by the SONUS Percussion Ensemble
SONUS Percussion Ensemble consists of students from the Faculty of Music, University of Debrecen. The ensemble regularly performs in concert series and has a repertoire ranging from children’s concerts to classical chamber music evenings.

All three days, visitors can use the basketball court and football pitch behind the Campus Hotel, as well as the outdoor fitness park.
