Building Energetics Postgraduate Program

This program is available only in Hungarian at the moment.

Programme length: 2 semesters

Application requirements:
BSc degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture or Mechanical Engineering (Building Services Engineering Specialization)

Qualification:
Engineer Specialised in Building Energetics

Aim of the Postgraduate Course:
is to familiarize students – besides general professional skills – with factors influencing the energy consumption of buildings. They should also be capable of using the simulation programmes and the processes available which make the reduction of energy consumption possible. Having acquired these skills graduates will be able to utilize solutions which will result in minimizing the energy consumption of buildings.

Subject modules with volume of credit points:

1. General modules: Building Constructions, Energy Production, Energy Management, subjects on Energy Consumption of Heating, Air Handling, Air Conditioning and Power Systems (30 credit points)

2. Specific modules: subjects on minimizing the energy consumption of buildings (applying renewable energy resources, reconstruction of buildings from an energetic point of view, energy modelling and simulation of buildings, design of technology, etc.) (20 credit points)
Thesis: 10 credit points
Total credits required: 60
