Internship (Professional Pilot BSc)

Professional Pilot BSc students have to undertake internship in three parts (3, 4 and 5 weeks) involved in the model curriculum. The internship course involves flight training offered in the second, fourth and sixth semester. The Place of flight training is provided by Pharma Flight. The time of flight training is determined by Pharmaflight. The three-week period can be any time from 1 June to 31 August in summer. Students are informed about the precise schedule in advance.
Number of credit points assigned to internship (flight training): 10. Flight training can be undertaken at an external internship place (ATO, Approved Training Organization) with which the higher education institution has an agreement and which has been approved and monitored by the National Transport Authority.

Flight training course involves daily flights during the study period too.

Special prerequisites of the flight training (internship):
-    Language exam in English (level: B2, type: complex) or GCSE exam or a language certificate of the same level and type
-    Medical certificate pursuant to Commission Regulation (EU) No. 1178/2011 (03/11/2011) Medical (MED) Requirements.

Pre-requisite of Summer flight training

A student is allowed to complete a flight training during the summer time if he/she has fulfilled Basics of Aviation I and Basics of Aviation II courses int he previous spring semseter.
