SUBMISSION DEADLINE FOR PAPERS: 15 November 2023, 12.00 NOON, ROOM 302, FACULTY OF ENGINEERING
Conference of Scientific Students' Association 2023:
As usual Faculty of Engineering, University of Debrecen is organizing FCSSA (Faculty Conference of Scientific Students' Association) on 24 November 2023. Students studying on a Bachelor or Masters program (full-time or part-time) can take part in the conference. The prerequisite of the application is a paper that contains a scientific student activity (essay, work) which has been carried out for the purpose of self-education during the academic training but before the pre-degree certificate has been obtained. The conference will be held at the faculty.
Application procedure:
1) Pre-registration for FCSSA: on this website
2) Submitting the 20 to 60-page CSSA paper to Dr Ákos Lakatos, in room 302, until 15 November 2023, 12:00 noon. The CSSA paper has to be submitted in two printed, spiral-bound copies and an electronic form (doc or docx file, on a labelled CD or pen drive) until the deadline. The paper and its cover have to meet the required format (it has to contain the following data: title of the paper, student’s program, supervisor’s name).

AWARDS: - Winners and runners-up can receive a scholarship award. Based on the committee's decision, the awarded theses can win the right to participate in the 2025 OTDK in DEBRECEN (at our Faculty).
- The winners and runners-up can win the Gold, Silver and Bronze degrees of the Certificate of Recognition for Academic Student Work, which will be presented at the Diploma Awarding Faculty Council meeting.
